Oh mai lord I'm TIRED!!! And grounded... and um... on my grandmas computer? See, I spent the night at my grandmas house and it was meh, meh sister Heather, my cousin Cre (Christy) and my other cousin Sam. We rented The Uninvited (Which is like one of my all time favs ) and The Haunting in Connecticut (which I hadn't saw before last night). The Haunting in Connecticut scared the freak out of me XD See, its about this dude, he has cancer and he lives far away from his hospital or something like that, so they moved into this new house beside the hospital (just until the cancer person (I think his name was Mathew) was done in the hospital). There was a history to the house. All I know is there was a dude, and another dude named Jonna or something, and Jonna was like a ghost whisperer. And them 2 dudes ran that house as a funeral home like years and years before Mathew and his family moved into it. Well, theres a basement to the home. Mathew stayed in the basement. But in the basement, there was a room, a sealed room that was later opened by Mathew. And what happened in that room was this dude and Jonna studied bodies and disturbing their rests so Jonna could talk to them. I fell alseep at the best part of the movie too! It was around 4:00am. Then I woke up at around 4:30 and looked at the tv, and Mathew and his mom were sitting in the basement around fire. Mathew was like badly burn't. The firement helped them But Mathew almost died D: I looked at my cousin when I woke up and she was crying because she had though Mathew died. It was sad but everyone lived. Thats kinda creepy that it was a real story though. In the credits, they showed pictures from the actual family. Creeeepy. And you know how movies make true stories look worse? Well, the true story was supposed to be worse then th movie... I feel so sorry for that family XD Well. That was my view on the movie. Heres what wikipedia says:
Set in 1987, the story centers on Matthew Campbell, who is being treated for Hodgkins Lymphoma in a hospital in Upstate Connecticut. After seeing the affect the long commute has on Matt, his family rents a nearby house, which they learn was previously a funeral home. They discover a mortuary room in the basement and the family begins experiencing violent and supernatural events that the parents initially blame on stress and hallucinations from Matt's treatment. Matt also experiences visions from the perspective of a young man named Jonah, who Matt said he has been seeing every day since he moved to the house. Matt contacts a minister he met at the hospital for assistance with his paranormal experiences. The minister informs Matt that the visions and supernatural encounters are likely a result of the previous occupant's occult activities (including séances and necromancy). The Jonah character is discovered to be the ghost of a psychic medium involved in the previous owner's activities and presently bound to control the "spirits" within the house. The minister finds the remains of young Jonah (ashes and a part of his skull) and removes them from the house, but shortly after Matt finds himself with necromantic inscriptions cut onto his body(similar to the ones on the dead bodies Jonah showed him in one of his memories) and is sent to the hospital. Once at the hospital Matt is confronted by the ghost of a charred Jonah, at the same time the minister finds him sitting in the back of his car while trying to get rid of his remains. Jonah tells them both how he died.

During a seance the ectoplasm explodes and burns everyone except Jonah, he runs to the man who was still alive who tells him "They'll be coming for you now, run" As he gets up the table tries to slam into him, which he dodges. He runs through the house trying to get out, but every door he went to closes. With nowhere else to run he climbs into the dumbwaiter and cries for help. When he reaches the basement he tries to get out but the door is locked and the furnace is turned on, burning him alive.

The minister sees what Jonah was trying to do and tries to warn Matt's family. Meanwhile Jonah possesses Matt and heads over to the house. Back at the house Matt's aunt is taking a shower and dose not hear the phone ring who was the minister who leaves a message saying without Jonah's spirit there is only the rage of the dead bodies and is warned to get out of the house, having not heard this she steps out of the shower and is nearly killed by the curtain, she then tells Matt's siblings to hide and sees Jonah (in Matt's body) running to the house with an axe, she tries to keep him out but he forces his way in and throws everybody out of the house, when his aunt asks about him he replies "I'm already dead!" He then sets the house on fire and starts chopping at the dining room walls with the axe, revealing the bodies that were robbed from the cemetery. The spirits of the bodies try to kill the boys but is saved by Matt's mom, but Matt dies before they get out. When they get out the paramedics try to bring Matt back. We then go to Matt's mind where Jonah shares a silent goodbye and thanks with Matt and leave his body bringing Matt back to life. Jonah then shares a silent thanks with the minister and the movie ends.
